How to Deal With Information Overload?

Are your hard-disks stuffed with a lot of digital downloads? Have you ever used any of them?

I have been asking quite a lot of times on the question of "How can I avoid information overload?"

Well, if you don't want information overload, then stop search for information!  You can’t conquer information overwhelmed by more information; the only way to conquer it is to start working.

“Work on what?” is usually the next question. See, if you don’t’ even know what to work on, and what you want to do, will you be able to do that with more information? Please. No.

Let me tell you what you should work on matter what niche you want to try. First you need a website, if not accessible, at least, a webpage. Use this site/page as your foundation for your internet career, start writing on what you want to communicate with people who visit your site, be it your personal case study, product reviews, or methods earned on that topic.

After you have the site, start writing at least 2-3 qualified articles each week and read Google analytic data to know how your audience and traffic is about, and improve the performance of your site/page.

“But no one visits my site.” I know. There are zillions of web pages on the internet wanting to be viewed and shared every second. Check your bookmarks now. Re-visit each page in your bookmark, and come up with a general description of them. Why people bookmark? For information, for inspiration, or for FUN. Try to provide values in these 3 aspects. It’s your lifelong learning even offline or in life.

After adding your golden nuggets, start telling people how good they are and how they can use them. Go to blogs of similar topics and comment to add more values to the bloggers’ posts and don’t forget your link. Answer questions on Yahoo answers, and tell them you have more information on your site if they are interested with your link. Participate in forums and help others get on the right track by answering questions, providing tips, giving supports and when appropriate, add your link! You should do this every day and while doing this, invest on a course of generate traffic by SEO or paid traffic and please, when you see something you didn’t know about before, start implementing that before you go on to the next line. Or implement 3 new things at one time before you go on to the next line/page. This will keep you busy everyday and it pays.

So now stop reading, and build your site/page in whatever niche or topic. If you have the budget, get yourself a domain at GoDaddy and a Baby Hosting Plan at Hostgator. If you don’t’ have the budget, go register at weebly or Blogger and start your page/site. Don’t buy anything thing, or start a new project, before you reach 20 articles and get indexed by Google. The only place you are allowed to go is here at my blog, because I am going to share how to get index and what to do next. Start working and post links to your blog as comment to show me you get started!
